Slouch Hat Keyring

Brand new keyring made from lead free pewter. in the shape of an American civil war officer's slouch hat.

The black slouch hat. although not regulation was one of the most popular forms of headgear among both officers and men, especially within the cavalry. On the front of an enlisted mans slouch hat was a cap or hat badge with various designs made of brass. A bugle design identifies Infantry, crossed swords, Cavalry and crossed cannons, artillery. This keyring hat is also decorated with hat cord ending with two tassels at the front.
